Michael Gray is a designer based in NYC, bringing over 12 years of experience in branding, marketing design, and creative direction. With a wealth of experience working with a diverse range of brands— contract, studio, and in-house —he has a proven track record of elevating brand expressions and ensuring consistent identities across various channels. His expertise spans multiple industries, including media, tech, insurance, CPG, wellness, hospitality, real estate, and professional and financial services.

At Policygenius and Zinnia, Michael led multi-channel B2C/B2B campaigns that significantly improved performance and conversion rates, while overseeing creative for connected TV campaigns and sales collateral, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.

At theSkimm, he collaborated with diverse teams to maintain brand consistency across advertising and editorial campaigns, directing the creative for the #1 New York Times Bestseller "How to Skimm Your Life" and their impactful election initiatives. His leadership in establishing the brand identity and design system grew across their multi-product portfolio.

Previously, Michael served as lead designer at Odgis + Co., developing brand identities and marketing materials for clients in the professional and financial sectors. And interned at companies like Vogue, Apple and Quirky. He holds a BFA in Graphic Design from The Cooper Union and enjoys cooking, beaches, and exploring new places, often with his four-pound Pomeranian by his side.
